The Blessed Family Department (BFD) Philippines successfully conducted the Level 2: 2nd Generation Blessing Education on June 21, 2026, via the Zoom platform. The activity gathered a total of 45 participants, composed of Blessed Parents, Blessed Children, BFD leaders, Matching Supporters, and BFD Staff. The program was further honored by the presence of Rev. Yutaka Yamada, FFWPU Continental Director, whose attendance inspired and encouraged all participants. The program aimed to deepen participants' understanding of the Blessing, strengthen their appreciation of Heavenly Parent's ideal for the family, and provide practical guidance for those preparing for the matching and Blessing process.
The program commenced with participants joining the virtual platform and engaging in the singing of holy songs, followed by the CIG Anthem, Kyeongbae, Family Pledge, and an opening prayer. Mrs. Catherine Gregorio, National BFD Director, delivered the welcome remarks and emphasized the importance of proper education and preparation for second-generation members as they journey toward the Blessing. She encouraged participants to actively engage throughout the session and to reflect deeply on the value and responsibility of building God-centered families.
The first lecture, entitled "Significance and Value of the Blessing," was delivered by Mrs. Dulce Buyayo, Director of BFD Asia Pacific. The lecture focused on five key topics: What is the Blessing?, Heavenly Parent's Dream, The Fall and the Loss of Our Connection to the Blessing, Cheon Il Guk Blessing Culture, and the Process and Ceremonies of the Blessing. Mrs. Buyayo explained that the Blessing, or Chuk-Bok, is the greatest gift of true love—a sacred marriage consecrated by the True Parents that unites a man and a woman in harmony to establish a God-centered family and bring hope, peace, and blessings to future generations. Participants also gained a deeper understanding of Heavenly Parent's original ideal for creation, the impact of the Fall on humanity's relationship with God, and the importance of cultivating the culture and traditions of Cheon Il Guk in preparation for the Blessing.
The program continued with a testimony from Ms. Sungphil Nurlene Jumawan and Mr. Takakira Ogai, a 2026 Second Generation Blessed Couple, who shared their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned throughout their matching and Blessing journey. Their testimony offered practical insights and encouragement to the participants. After a short break, the second lecture entitled "Blessing Preparation" was delivered by Mrs. Yiesun Yashiro, Administrator of the B4U Website, Asia Pacific. The lecture provided practical guidance on internal and external preparation, emphasizing the importance of personal growth, readiness, and utilizing available resources throughout the matching process.
Following the second lecture, parents and blessed children joined separate breakout sessions to discuss their readiness and preparations for the Blessing process. The sessions provided an opportunity for reflection, open communication, and shared insights between participants and their families.
The program concluded with an open forum and question-and-answer session, followed by brief words of encouragement from Rev. Yutaka Yamada, FFWPU Continental Director. The event officially ended with a closing prayer led by Ms. Satomi Granada and a virtual group photo. Overall, the Level 2: 2nd Generation Blessing Education successfully provided participants with meaningful guidance and inspiration as they continue their Blessing journey.
