The Cheon Il Guk Leaders Meeting was successfully conducted from September 29 to October 1, 2025, at the FFWPU Philippine Headquarters in Quezon City. The three-day national gathering followed the providentially significant National Worship Service for Absolute Unity with Holy Mother Han and was attended by 35 church leaders representing different regions across the country.
This meeting was convened with the following objectives:
1. To receive updates and deeper understanding of True Mother’s current situation and the providential meaning of her detention.
2. To align Philippine leaders with the current providential direction under the guidance of Asia Pacific Continental Director Rev. Masaichi Hori and Philippine Regional Director Rev. Ronnie Sodusta.
3. To strengthen organizational structure and strategies for church growth, witnessing, and youth mobilization in line with the International Headquarters (IHQ) guidelines and in preparation for future providential milestones toward Vision 2027.
The meeting reaffirmed the Philippines’ providential role as the “Heart of Asia Pacific” and the movement’s regional capital. Rev. Hori emphasized that 50% of the Asia Pacific region’s providential goals now rest upon the Philippine movement, reflecting the nation’s central responsibility and potential for growth.
Concrete numerical goals were set to guide the national vision for 2025–2026:
· 12,000 witnessing contacts
· 2,100 membership applicants
· 1,000 new members
· 170 Blessing candidates
Leaders were urged to move toward self-reliance, innovation, and ownership, transcending dependency on the MFT and full-time members. This new strategic direction calls for collective accountability and creative mobilization at all levels of the organization.
Rev. Masaichi Hori emphasized and challenged the Philippine leadership to double the national membership and to become a model nation within the Asia Pacific region, as a beacon of hope and success for the global providence.
Another significant point of the meeting was the emphasis on documenting the Philippine providence as a way of honoring Heaven’s history and preserving its legacy. Ms. Glo Shin Hyo Panuelos, a second-generation member and history graduate from the University of the Philippines, presented an initial framework of how to gather factual and reliable information on the writing of Philippine Providence History Book. Leaders expressed full support for this initiative and agreed to create an official digital archive to safeguard the records of the Unification movement in the Philippines.
The Philippine Providence Historical Timeline is scheduled for launch in May 2026, symbolizing the nation’s commitment to preserving its providential journey and transmitting its heritage to future generations. As highlighted during the meeting, “Recording our history is not merely documentation—it is fulfilling Heaven’s legacy.”
Rev. Ronnie Sodusta concluded the meeting with a strong appeal through Project NOW: National Oneness through Witnessing.
The Cheon Il Guk Leaders Meeting 2025 reaffirmed the Philippines’ central mission in advancing the providence within Asia Pacific. The three-day gathering concluded with renewed determination, unity, and a clear roadmap for growth. With the collective pledge to double membership, raise new youth leaders, and solidify the nation as a beacon of hope, the Philippine movement steps forward to embody True Parents’ dream and Heavenly Parent’s vision for Cheon Il Guk.

Reflections shared by participants during this event.
“"Activities like this is very productive and uplifting. This is quite different from other meetings I attended. No registration fees collected, yet everything is above standard. The most important thing for me is that, the investment of the organizers is genuine and deep. The outdoor activities are indeed stress-relieving and interesting. I just hope that we can go ahead with witnessing and education as our way of attendance to Holy Mother Han, rather than just waiting for news and updates about the case. Let's release our anger and frustrations through witnessing and education. We have to do something while waiting for the case to be resolved."”

“I am very grateful to have a Cheon Il Guk Leaders meeting during this challenging time, especially given the current situation with True Mother. It helps us understand and address some issues related to legal matters and internal conflicts among top leaders. President Hori provided clarification and addressed the major issues and concerns of everyone involved in leadership. Now is the time to offer more of our jeonseong, unity, and determination to bring victory for Vision 2027 and to liberate our hearts and comfort our Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Aju!”

“The Cheon Il Guk Leaders Meeting is truly important for us leaders, as it provides the time and space to talk, share, and learn from the situations in our respective churches. The healthy conversations we had during breakfast and spare time were also very valuable. Seeing each other during the Leaders Meeting was fruitful, as it gave us a chance to unwind, reset our weary minds, and strengthen our sense of unity. And when we return to our mission in the field, we are filled with inspiration and a clear sense of direction. As our beloved True Mother has reminded us, no matter what difficulties she may be experiencing at this time, we should always place Heavenly Parent first. She has taught us not to feel sorrowful or worried, but instead to continue practicing a life of faith centered on True Parents. This is the path that I, too, must strive to follow with sincerity and determination.”
