On June 28, 2026, FFWPU Region 2 hosted the first centralized Blessing Seminar Level 1 for Area 2, covering both 1st and 2nd Generation participants. Area 2 comprises three subregions—Region 1 (La Union, Dagupan & Pangasinan, and Ilocos), the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Region 2—so the seminar was organized in a hybrid format following guidance from the recent on-site Mid-Year Strategic Meeting of Head Pastors, Senior Pastors, the Blessing and Family Department (BFD), and Matching Supporters. Local participants were instructed to gather at their respective centers and join collectively, while those from more distant locations joined online; remote attendees were required to keep their cameras on and remain present from start to finish to ensure engagement and full participation. Fourteen participants registered in total: 12 were 2nd Generation and 2 were 1st Generation. Geographically, two participants represented Region 1, eight came from Region 2, and four joined from CAR.
The Blessing Seminar Level 1 covered three core lectures: Lecture 1 — Overview of the Blessing; Lecture 2 — Entering the Matching, delivered by Mrs. Lorna Lansangan (BFD for Area 2 and Region 2); and Lecture 3 — Before Finding the Right Person, Be the Right Person, delivered by Rev. Rene Lansangan (Area 2 Director and Head Pastor of Region 2). Each presentation included time for questions and answers, allowing participants to clarify concepts and discuss practical applications. To receive their e-certificate, attendees were required to complete an Evaluation Form and submit a written reflection on the seminar; 10 of the 14 registered participants returned their evaluations. For Lectures 1 and 2, six respondents indicated they “understand most of the content well,” while four reported they “fully understand and can apply what was taught.” For Lecture 3, four respondents said they “understand most of the content well,” and six reported they “fully understand and can apply what was taught.” Additionally, at least four participants provided candid suggestions for improvement, chiefly noting intermittent technical issues during the hybrid delivery that affected engagement. Overall feedback shows strong comprehension of the material and highlights the need to strengthen technical support for future hybrid events.
