On July 12, 2026, the Korean Festival, organized by HTG Korea in partnership with the Antipolo Family Church, was successfully held at the Antipolo Family Church with a total of 100 participants.
The event was graced by Rev. Leo Angelo Halog, Regional Director of FFWPU Philippines; Rev. Froilan Matbagan Jr., Area 1 Director and Head Pastor of Metro Manila Family Church; Rev. Blessie Ramos, Head Pastor of Antipolo Family Church; and Mr. Jason Ibo, Department Head of Sun Hwa HJ Global Education Center. Present also during the festival were 13 Japanese second-generation students from the Sun Hwa HJ Global Education Center, who joined the Antipolo Family Church members in celebrating Korean culture through various interactive activities.
The program officially began with warm and heartfelt welcome remarks from Rev. Blessie Ramos, who expressed her gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the event possible. In her welcome remarks, she emphasized the significance of the Korean Festival as an opportunity to learn about and appreciate Korean culture through traditional games, cultural performances, and the sharing of food and fellowship. She shared that this was her first activity with the congregation since assuming her new mission as the Head Pastor of Antipolo Family Church, making the occasion especially meaningful and joyful for her.
Rev. Ramos also expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, particularly the two HTG Korean missionaries, for their dedication in planning and preparing the event despite the limited preparation time. She acknowledged their sincere efforts in making the Korean Festival a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.
The message was followed by an energetic opening performance presented by the Antipolo Youth together with two HTG Korean missionaries, setting a joyful and festive atmosphere for the day.
Participants enthusiastically enjoyed a variety of games and cultural activities, including the lively chicken fight game and the traditional Korean game Ddakji, a paper-flipping game that brought excitement and laughter to everyone. Although the program was brief, it was filled with meaningful interactions, joyful fellowship, and a spirited unity dance that further strengthened the bond among the participants.
The program concluded with heartfelt closing remarks from the HTG Korea representatives, who sincerely expressed their appreciation to the Antipolo Family Church, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the Korean Festival.
Following the program, participants shared a fellowship meal as blessed families generously brought and offered food for everyone to enjoy. This beautiful act of sharing truly reflected the spirit that "Food is Love" and embodied the vision of becoming One Family under Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The Korean Festival became more than a cultural celebration—it was a meaningful gathering that fostered unity, friendship, and the heart of one family.
