The Meaning of the Holy Wine Ceremony
The Holy Wine Ceremony is a sacred rite in the Unification tradition that symbolises spiritual rebirth and renewal. By partaking of the Holy Wine, participants inherit God’s lineage and are cleansed from the effects of the fall, allowing them to stand as true sons and daughters of Heavenly Parent.
This ceremony is not only personal but also communal—it unites families under Heaven, connects members to the love of True Parents, and strengthens the resolve to live a life centred on God’s will. Much like a covenant, it marks the transformation of our lineage into one aligned with divine purpose and the dream of Cheon Il Guk.
Significance of the Day
-
Entrance to Cheon Il Sanctum: The ceremony also celebrated the symbolic entrance into the Cheon Won Gung Cheon Il Sanctum, a holy space dedicated to worship, devotion, and prayer.
